Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, the Chairman of RD Industries Limited, is a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record of founding successful businesses across various sectors, including textiles, apparel dyeing, garment accessories, recycling, and drinking water. With a passion for innovation and growth, he has played a pivotal role in the development of each industry he has ventured into. Beyond his business achievements, Mr. Azad is dedicated to social responsibility, actively engaging in community initiatives in all the regions where his companies operate.
Mr. Saiful Azad Rana, Managing Director and Co-founder of RD Industries Limited, has over a decade of experience in the oil and gas, packaging, and heating and plumbing sectors, with much of his career centered in North America. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from BUET and a Master’s in Supply Chain and Global Operations from McGill University. Currently, Mr. Rana oversees multiple family businesses, focusing on business development, enhancing operational efficiency, and modernizing IT infrastructure for sustainable growth. His guiding principles are rooted in lean manufacturing, safety, and environmental responsibility.
Dr. Ireen Sultana, R&D Director at RD Industries Limited, is a visionary leader with extensive expertise in Industrial, Manufacturing, and Mechanical Engineering. With an Industrial Engineering degree from BUET and a PhD in Composite Materials from McGill University, Dr. Sultana spearheads the company’s mission to innovate and bring new products to market, exploring untapped applications and growth opportunities. Her leadership extends to optimizing and automating manufacturing processes, reinforcing RD Industries’ commitment to excellence and industry leadership.
